The Kidde K5CO is a compact and lightweight battery powered carbon monoxide alarm that offers essential protection against the dangers of CO and continuous monitoring through advanced sensor technology. The K5CO is ideal for use in any living area, has a 10 year sensor life and can be installed on a wall or can be used freestanding on a flat surface.
The alarm incorporates an easy-to-use test / reset button which allows regular functional testing of the device’s alarm facility. It is supplied with 2 x AA alkaline batteries and features multi-function green and red LEDs to indicate the unit power and alarm status.
The Kidde K5CO is UKCA marked, Kitemarked to BS EN 50291-1 and offers a 7-year warranty.
LED Indication
These Kidde K5CO includes two LED’s that notify operation:
Green LED: Flashes once every 30 seconds to indicate the alarm is operating correctly.
Red LED: will pulse to indicate carbon monoxide has been detected along with an audible alarm. An end-of-life warning will sound to alert the user to replace the alarm when required.
